01 · The first WorkWell conference

221 people. One question about healthier work.

In January 2026, 221 people from 65 organizations gathered in Amman for the first WorkWell conference. They explored how work is designed, led and experienced, and what makes it healthier. WorkWell Amman 2027 builds on that first event with a sharper focus on organizations and original Jordanian workplace research.

“The day kept circling back to one powerful idea: wellbeing is not a “nice to have;” it’s a system, a practice, and a shared responsibility.”

02 · The WorkWell experience

Five stages. One question.

How do we design organizations where people and performance can thrive?

01

See

How are people experiencing work in Jordan?

A clearer picture of how work is actually experienced.

02

Understand

What makes work healthier, or harder?

Language for the conditions that make work healthier or harder.

03

Lead

How do managers shape everyday work?

Practical manager capability for pressure, trust and support.

04

Design

What can organizations realistically change?

Organizational actions, not only individual coping strategies.

05

Commit

How do we turn insight into action?

One change to take back, and a path to follow through.

03 · What you take back

Insight you can act on.

WorkWell is designed to move beyond inspiration. Participants leave with a clearer question, practical capability and one change to make in their own workplace.

01

A clearer picture

How people in Jordan actually experience work today, grounded in the WorkWell Jordan Pulse rather than assumptions.

02

A shared language

Frameworks for workload, trust, psychological safety, autonomy and the conditions that make work healthier or harder.

03

Practical manager capability

Everyday approaches to notice, listen, support and redesign when people or teams are under pressure.

04

One action to take back

A concrete organizational next step — not only an individual coping strategy — and a path to follow through.

05 · Who should attend

Built for the people who shape organizations.

01

Business and executive leaders

You set the direction of your organization and the conditions under which people work.

See how work design, management and sustainable performance connect, and what to change first.

Practical approaches to culture, measurement, flexibility and moving from programmes to better work design.

03

You bring evidence from psychology, coaching, workplace health or learning.

A room of peers across disciplines, and a place to share evidence rather than promotion.

Insight linked to the Economic Modernisation Vision’s quality-of-life ambition.

The principle

Wellbeing is not simply something we add to work. It is something we design into work.

Healthy work is increasingly a leadership, organizational, and performance issue and not simply an employee well-being issue.
